Kaiju

Kaiju (Japanese怪 獣, literally " strange beast, mysterious beast" ) is a Japanese term that refers to strange creatures, especially giant monsters as in Japanese fantasy films, series ( tokusatsu ) and anime shown be. The giant monster called precisely Daikaiju (大 怪 獣, dt "giant monster "). The similar term Kaijin (怪人) refers to human-like monster ( humanoid ) in this genre.
