Content

Tirol shortly after 1900: As the Kaiserjäger quartered to field service exercises in the nearby village and Schloss Hardenberg, is good advice at Countess Valerie and her father Leopold expensive: Valerie's late husband and Kaiserjäger Andreas had announced his comrades shortly before the birth of their only child to get a boy. Production

Filming for Kaiserjäger took place in Tyrol and Innsbruck. The German premiere of the film was on December 20, 1956 at Europa Palace in Munich. Musical theme of the film is the march We are the Kaiserjäger.
