Kaitlin Sandeno

Kaitlin Sandeno ( born March 13, 1983 in Mission Viejo / California) is an American swimmer. Sandenos special routes are the long freestyle and capable of stretching. She lives in Ann Arbor and trained the team of University of Michigan.

Achievements

  • Bronze medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney in the 800 meters freestyle, fourth place over 400 meters individual medley
  • Olympic champion in Athens in 2004 with the U.S. 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay in world record time, silver medal in the 400 meters individual medley, bronze in the 400 meter freestyle
  • World Champion in 2005 in Montreal with the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay, bronze in the 400 meters individual medley
