Kachaber ( Kacha ) Kaladse (Georgian კახაბერ ( კახა ) კალაძე; born February 27, 1978 in Samtredia, English transcription: Kakhaber ( Kakha ) Kaladze ) is a retired Georgian footballer. Dinamo Tbilisi

AC Milan
2001 Kaladse became the most expensive player of Georgian football history when he moved to AC Milan for 16 million euros. Here, he mostly plays as a central or left defender. In the season 2006/ 07 Kaladse was with AC Milan again Champions League winner as Liverpool 2-1 in the final was defeated. In the 2007 /08 season he was a regular for Milan and played 32 league games. In the following season he was initially infrequently used in the later stages due to a five-month -long injury no longer.
Genoa
Kaladse changed in August 2010 after only six league inserts in the previous season for AC Milan to Genoa. At the end of the 2011/12 season Kaladse ended his time.
National
Kaladse was captain of Georgian national team. He made his debut on 27 March 1996 against the national team of Cyprus and since then took part with Georgia at all World Cup and European Championship qualifying rounds, but was never able to qualify. He completed 64 internationals. In December 2011, he resigned as national team.
On September 5, 2009 Kaladse shot in a World Cup qualifier two own goals and thus caused a 0-2 defeat against Italy.

Policy
Kaladse participated in 2012 in the founding of the party alliance Georgian Dream. The future Georgian Prime Minister Bidsina Ivanishvili nominated him as Vice - Premier and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development. In the final form the cabinet was Kaladse Vice Premier and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.
Others
2001 Kachas brother Levan was kidnapped and demanded a ransom of € 600,000. The demanded by the kidnappers a ransom was reportedly paid for by the family, then he was considered missing. On 6 May 2005, the Georgian police discovered eight bodies in the Svaneti region. In February 2006, one of which could be identified as Levan Kaladse.
A court in Tbilisi sentenced the main perpetrators Dawit Asatiani in March 2007 to 25 years in prison. He had fled after the incident in the West, but could be taken in Switzerland and was delivered to Georgia in November 2006. A second defendant came up with five years in prison of which, among other things, because he had weighed heavily on his accomplices with a comprehensive confession. Two other hijackers serving prison sentences in France and Russia.
