Kalamunda-Nationalpark

The Kalamunda National Park (English: Kalamunda National Park ) is a national park in the Australian state of Western Australia. This park is located 25 kilometers east of Perth near the town of Kalamunda.

In the National Park grow different eucalyptus species between stone blocks, as Marri ( Corymbia calophylla ), wandoo (Eucalyptus wandoo ) and Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata ). An animal species, the Grey Kangaroo, the echidna and the short-faced Australian bandicoots live there.

The park is the starting point of the 965 km long Bibbulmun track from Albany to Kalamunda, a hiking trail.

Is operated, this national park by the Department of Environment and Conservation in Western Australia.
