Kaldbaksbotnur [ kal ː ˌ bak bɔtnʊɹ ] is the location of the Faroe Islands in the southwest of the main island Streymoy.

Kaldbaksbotnur is at the end of the fjord Kaldbaksfjørður and belongs administratively to the capital - commune, but without belonging to the closed settlement area of the conurbation.
