Kaleköy ( Turkish for " castle village ") is a small community in the Turkish province of Antalya, built on the ruins of the ancient city of Simena. The place is situated on the coast between Kaş and Demre, directly opposite the island of Kekova and is still only accessible on foot or by boat.

Some grave inscriptions suggest that the place existed in the 4th century BC. In ancient times Simena was, together with Aperlai Apollonia and Isinda the Lycian Federation, but had never gained more importance. Only a few ruins from antiquity have been preserved. Remains of the Baths of Titus today are in the water. The necropolis with mostly Roman sarcophagi in the Lycian style are partially submerged. A single sarcophagus projects freely from the water and is a popular photo opportunity. Further up a small Lycian theater carved into the rock. Seven rows of seats could accommodate about 300 people.

Above the village stands a medieval Crusader castle up. It was built by the Knights of St. John, who ruled until 1522 in Rhodes on ancient foundations. The castle walls with their swallowtail merlons are well preserved.

Today's Kaleköy is on the Lycian Way. From Üçağız from the hiking path leads through more difficult terrain after Kaleköy. However, most visitors arrive by ship. Boat tours are offered by Üçağız, Kas, Demre and Andriake from.
