Kalev (mythology)

Kalev is a hero of the Estonian national epic Kalevipoeg.

He was allegedly (now part of Tallinn) buried in the Cathedral Hill; his historical existence is doubtful. From the tears of his widow Linda the legend to have originated after the Ülemiste Lake.
