Kalilangan, Bukidnon

Kalilangan is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Bukidnon on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 39,847 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 14 barangays. It belongs to the second class of income communities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

Your neighboring municipalities are Maguing the northwest, Bumbaran in the west and Wao in the southwest, all located in the province of Lanao del Sur, Talakag in the north and Pangantucan the east and south. The topography of the parish is described as mountainous with large canyon -like valleys and large plateaus. To the north is the mountain range of Mount Kalatungan Range.

In the north- east of the village of Mount Kalatungan Range Natural Park is located. The Tausa and Pantaka Lake are located in Barangay Canituan, they are considered good bathing water. The saltwater lake in Sitio New Janiuay, Barangay Ninoy Aquino, has a higher sulfur concentration and is one of the few saltwater lakes in the Philippines. From Pod -ong peak in Barangay Malinao you have a nice panoramic view of the surrounding areas.
