Kalinga

Kalinga is a landlocked province of the Philippines in the Cordillera Administrative Region on the island of Luzon.

It has 174 023 inhabitants and an area of 3164.3 km ². Capital is Tabuk City. The Balbalasang - Balbalan National Park is located in the northwest of the province. In Uhrzeigersein it borders the provinces of Mountain Province to the south, Abra to the west, in northern Apayao, Cagayan to the northeast and Isabela to the east. The province is located in the east central sector of the Cordelliera Central.

Kalinga is a word from the language of Ibang and Gaddang and is translated to " head hunters ".
