Kaltenmühlbach

The cold Mühlbach is a 8.3 km long left tributary of the Waldnaab in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria. It rises in the High Druckenthaner forest and ends at the cold mill in the Waldnaab.

Course

The cold springs in Mühlbach 815 m above sea level. NN from the so-called three wells at the foot of Entenbühls (901 m ) on the border Silberhütte. After a few hundred meters of the little stream reaches the hamlet Altglashütte. Here he comes after three kilometers into a pond.

The left of the bifurcation flowing Silver Creek divides again after a few kilometers; some of the water flowing again as Urtlbach the cold Mühlbach. The Silver Creek flows directly into the Waldnaab.

After the cold Mühlbach has regenerated after his turn, it flows through a deep valley, where he grows up by numerous streams to a small river. After some farms it flows under the road in 2172 ( Plößberg - Baernau ) and flows through the cold mill in the fledgling Waldnaab.
