Kami-Amakusa, Kumamoto

Kami- Amakusa (Japanese上天 草 市, - shi) is a Japanese city in Kumamoto Prefecture on the Amakusa Islands.

History

The city was on 31 March 2004 by merging the municipalities Himedo (姫 戸 町, machi ), Matsushima (松 岛 町, machi ), Ōyano (大 矢野 町, machi ) and Ryūgatake (龍ヶ岳 町, machi ) of the district Amakusa founded.
