Kosowski qualified with the national team for FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany and was in the squad for the World Cup. In summer 2006 he returned briefly to relegated to the second division FCK back, but was rejected by coach Wolfgang Wolf. So Kosowski moved to the 2006/07 season to Italy to Chievo Verona. From the summer of 2007, he plays for Wisła Kraków and then re- joined in January 2008, the Spanish second division side FC Cádiz. For the 2008/2009 season Kosowski moved to Cyprus to APOEL Nicosia. With APOEL he was in season 2008/2009 Cypriot champions and Supercup winner. For the 2010/2011 season he moved to within Cyprus Apollon Limassol. With Apollo, he finished 5th and scored 1 goal in 17 league games. After last season, Kosowski decided return to Poland and signed a contract with GKS Belchatow.
