Kaminahu ( altsüdarabisch kmnhw and today Kamna ) is the name of a South Arabian city in the northern Jawf in Yemen today, 107 km north- northeast of Sana'a, at about 1100 m above sea level

In the early days Kaminahu was just like the other cities of the Jawf as Haram and Naschan its own city-state. To 715 BC Kaminahu of Yitha'amar watar was I. subject of Sheba after Naschan and the neighboring city of Manhiyat had annexed. In Karib'il of watar I (c. 685 BC) led war against Sabas Naschan and probably also against Ausan supported Ilsama ʿ of Kaminahu together with Yadhmurmalik of Haram Sabaeans; reward Kaminahu was assigned to a conquered irrigation canal of Naschan. At this time Kaminahu seems to have experienced its heyday, because Ilsama ʿ called on many inscriptions. In addition, report building inscriptions that Ilsama ʿ Nabat have built Kaminahu of the city's fortifications from Naschq. The various dedicatory inscriptions from this period suggest that were worshiped in Kaminahu next Athtar Hagar, a special form of the god Athtar, even the local gods Nab ʿ al and Mdhww. With the establishment of the kingdom of Ma'in in the 6th century BC Kaminahu lost its meaning.
