Kamisama Kazoku

Kamisama Kazoku (Japanese神 様 家族, German family of gods ) is an 8 -piece Light Novel series by Yoshikazu Kuwashima. A film adaptation of an anime series was first broadcast in Japan on May 18, 2006 on Animax. Furthermore, a manga and a computer game was released based on the series of novels.

Action

Samatarō Kamiyama is the son of God and lives with his family in the human world. This is to guarantee that, if he succeeds his father takes up one day, a good God is. His best friend is Tenko, who is also his guardian angel, grows up together with him and goes to the same school. So he spends a carefree life with his family and works even a little bored. Until one day with Kumiko Komori, a new student attended the same class. This has the consequence that Samatarō head over heels in love with her. However, she makes his first overture from now, what Samatarō - a whole new experience is - the Son of God. He sees this as a challenge and wants to win her heart without the help of his family. He asks Tenko for assistance.

As several overtures go wrong by interfering with his family, Samatarō demands of his family, to transform it into an ordinary man. But he is not prepared for the consequences of his actions and must especially point out with pain that Tenko has disappeared. Frustrated by his life as an ordinary person, as well as Kumiko has left the school, he seeks solace in a shop for special gift items that Tenko had previously admired greatly. In it, he meets a person who Tenko is very similar and wants to help him to be able to once again talk to Kumiko. Here, this person turns out to himself as Tenko and it turns out that his father has not really deprived him of his divine power.

While Samatarōs friend Shinichi thinks he has found the girl of his dreams at a hospital to Tenko behaves very strange. It turns out that Tenko a baby hidden and they assumed Samatarō to be the father. The girl named Ai grows much faster than an ordinary baby and brought Samatarō and Tenko some problems. As Ai is now almost grown, meet Shinichi and Ai swarm and it turns out that both knew each other before, but Ai was killed in an accident. Once this puzzle is solved, the relationship between Samatarō and Tenko which, owing to the " common child " seems already had been strongly moved toward each other to heat.

Especially in this situation receives Tenko orders to return to heaven, because it has its obligations towards Samatarō met. Much worse is it for Tenko, however, that Kumiko comes back to the school. Frustrated by this situation, Tenko spends most of his time absorbed in thought in the bed of their associated closed room. Here it appears the Archangel Suguru, who strongly asks to return to heaven. He granted her, however, three more days. Meanwhile follows Samatarō Kumiko home and meets their allegedly ill mother Fumiko. Tenko spies on the two and finds out that Fumiko is in fact a devil and Kumiko need to eat with fresh souls can.

As it creates Tenko, the boy closer to explain the situation and Kumiko himself admits to be the daughter of the devil, it's almost too late for Samatarō and his family. The devil is unstoppable for the family members. Ultimately, it is possible Samatarō nevertheless by a ruse and Tenkos Assistance, to bring the devil to the track. Kumiko who once came as an angel to the world, turns off again into an angel back and since then has lived in Samatarōs house. Meanwhile Samatarō and Tenko have finally found each other and Tenko gets the Archangel permission to stay on Earth.

Novels

The Light Novels by Yoshikazu Kuwashima appear since 2003, Media Factory Bunko label in J. Until March 2007 eight independent parts have appeared.

Manga

A manga implementation of the novels seems serialized story in the monthly manga magazine Comic Flapper since the December 2005 issue. As a signatory acts Tabari (た ぱり). The Media Factory Publishing brings the manga out in anthologies, of which five have been published so far. (As of 24 July 2008)

Anime

A 13-part series was produced by Toei Animation and aired from May to August 2006 at the Japanese television. About 3 months later, with a time delay, the 13 episodes appeared on a total of 5 DVDs.

Music

For the opening credits of the series the title Brand New Morning, was sung from May Mizuhashi, recorded, of which, however, only one and a half minute excerpt was used. The end credits of Episode Toshokan dewa Oshiete Kurenai used, Tenshi no Himitsu (図書館 で は 教え て くれ ない,天使 の 秘密) Miraku the group, made up from the article May Mizuhashi, Mayu Kudou and Fumika Iwaki, as piece of music.

On 21 September 2006, the Ren'ai Adventure Kamisama Kazoku appeared: Ōengambō (神 様 家族 応 援 愿望) for the PlayStation 2
