Kane (Wrestler)

Glenn Thomas Jacobs ( born April 26, 1967 in Madrid, Spain), better known by his ring name Kane, is an American professional wrestler and actor. He is currently in WWE under contract and performs regularly in their wrestling shows.

His biggest success was the preservation of the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWF Heavyweight Champion title. Jacobs was also a main character in the horror movie See No Evil.

Private life

Jacobs was born in Madrid, the son of a U.S. soldier stationed there, but grew up in Bowling Green, in the state of Missouri on. There he began in high school to play basketball. He graduated from Northeast Missouri State University English, but reached in 1991 because of a curriculum change only a bachelor and thus no teaching certificate. Again, Jacobs played basketball and American football. Today he lives with his wife Janin in Knoxville, Tennessee. From a previous marriage Jacobs has a biological son. With his ex-wife Marusha he had two stepdaughters.

Wrestling career

Jacobs celebrated his wrestling debut in 1992 as Unabomb in the United States Wrestling Association ( USWA ). There he took up under the name Doomsday and The Christmas Creature and won the USWA Heavyweight Champion. As Unabomb he was tag team champion in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, along with Al Snow. Also in other independent leagues, such as in Tennessee, he was active as (Mike) Unabomb. In European leagues ( WWC ), he used the name Spartacus.

World Wrestling Federation / WWE

In summer 1995, Jacobs made ​​his debut in the World Wrestling Federation as Dr. Isaac Yankem, an evil dentist on the side of Jerry Lawler and feuded against Bret Hart.

Before the loss titles Jacobs moved by the WWE Draft on 23 June 2008 back to RAW. There followed a feud with Rey Mysterio until the end of 2008. A year later, he returned to SmackDown. There he began a feud with The Great Khali.

In the big event Money In The Bank 18 July 2010 Jacobs was allowed to decide the same ladder match of SmackDown squad for itself. On the same night he broke the contract, defeated Rey Mysterio and so was the world heavyweight championship title of this.

This was followed again feuds with The Undertaker and against Edge, to whom he at the big event TLC: Tables had to give, Ladders & Chairs in a Four - Way TLC match, the World Heavyweight Championship. At this match even Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio were involved.
