Kanji-Kentei

The Kentei Kanji (汉字 検 定, sometimes abbreviated as Kanken ), is a test to check the kanji skills. The complete Japanese name (Nihon kanji nōryoku Kentei shiken日本 汉字 能力 検 定 试 験) means " Japanese Kanji competency test ".

For native speakers of Japanese developed, the test has become increasingly popular for Japan Ischler end.

There are 12 steps ( 10-3, Pre- 2, 2, 1, and Pre- 1), wherein 10 is the lowest and the highest one. The test verifies the read and write kanji skills, understand their meaning and can apply them correctly in sentences, as well as the knowledge of the correct stroke order and line numbers.

Level 7

  • Including On-and Kun readings, stroke order, writing skills, ability to use 640 kanji that are learned by the end of the fourth academic year of primary school the characters in sentences and names of radicals.

Level 6

Subject matter:

  • 825 kanji that are learned by the end of the fifth school year of primary school, including on- and kun readings, stroke order, writing skills, ability to use the characters in sentences and the names of radicals.
