Kansas City Times

The Kansas City Times was an American newspaper that was published from 1867 to 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri.

The morning newspaper was founded in 1867 by John Newman Edwards to support the anti- Reconstruction policies of the Democrats. Edwards journalistic work is now associated primarily with the glorification of Jesse James.

1901 joined the newspaper owner and was later temporarily out of their employees. In 1977, the Kansas City Times was acquired together with the Kansas City Star from the media company Capital Cities Communications.
