Kantishna is a small village without its own management in Denali Borough of Alaska. It lies at the foot of the Kantishna Hills, Denali National Park at the end of the national park road, 4.8 km north-west of Wonder Lake.

Founded in 1905 as Kantishna gold mining camp at the confluence of the gold-bearing streams Eureka Creek and Moose Creek. Initially, the settlement was known under the name of Eureka. The Board on Geographic Names, however, put 1944 in accordance with the Kantishna Post Office Opened in 1905 the present name as the official name fixed.
