Kantonsspital St. Gallen, founded in 1873, is the sixth largest hospital in Switzerland. As Spitalverbund Kantonsspital St. Gallen with the three hospitals in St. Gallen, Rorschach and Flawil it takes over the primary health care for the residents in this catchment area.

History

In the city of St. Gallen healing was always assigned to a special position.
