Kanzel (Bavarian Forest)

The pulpit is a mehrgipfeliger mountain in the Bavarian Forest National Park south of the Lusen and the hollow stone. The area around the pulpit is mainly referred to as " rock hiking area ", which is crossed by numerous hiking trails, which often lead to rock formations. However, a proper summit is only the little pulpit ( 1,011 m) a little further west. On its distinctive boulder stands a stately summit cross with modest view to the south. The nearest town and a good starting point for an ascent is Mauth.
