Kao Liao District

Amphoe Kao Liao ( Thai: เก้าเลี้ยว ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the province ( Changwat ) Nakhon Sawan. The Nakhon Sawan Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Banphot Phisai Province Nakhon Sawan, Amphoe Pho Thale the province of Phichit and Chum Saeng and Mueang Nakhon Sawan Nakhon Sawan again.

History

The county Kao Liao was born on October 1, 1969 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by five Tambon were separated from Amphoe Banphot Phisai. On June 28, 1973 Kao Liao was officially full Amphoe status.

Management

Amphoe Kao Liao ( tambon) divided into 5 municipalities, which in turn in 44 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Kao Liao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เก้าเลี้ยว ) itself has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon) and consists of the whole tambon Kao Liao.

There are also four administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
