Kaoma

Kaoma was the name of a pop group produced in France by the Paris-based singer Loalwa Braz. They arrived with their million-seller Lambada 1989 11 charts the first rank.

Genesis

Plagiarism

The worldwide hit was not unnoticed by the real authors in Bolivia. They sued the French CBS for plagiarism, but compared to out of court with Georgakarakos and Lorsac.

After the dissolution of the band Loalwa Braz published 2003 solo album Recomeçar.
