Kapas Island

Kapas ( Malay: Pulau Kapas ) is an overgrown with jungle island, 10 km south-east off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. To the north is a few 100 meters from the much smaller neighboring island Gemia.

Kapas Iceland is sparsely populated, and lives primarily from tourism. Within a radius of five kilometers, there is fishing ban.

The beaches are white sand beaches of Kapas. Around the island 's clear waters, which attracts divers snorkel, find the coral reefs and wrecks. Kapas can be reached by ferry from the six kilometers distant fishing village of Marang.
