Kapho District

Kapho ( Thai: กะพ้อ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Pattani. The Pattani province is located southeast of South Thailand in the Gulf of Thailand.

Geography

Adjacent counties and regions are ( from north-west clockwise): Amphoe Thung Yang Daeng and the Sai Buri in the province of Pattani Province, Amphoe Bacho in Narathiwat province and Amphoe Raman in Yala province.

History

Kapho was born on March 15, 1982 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three southern Tambon were separated from Amphoe Sai Buri. On November 4, 1993 Kapho got the full Amphoe status.

Management

Amphoe Kapho is divided into three subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 22 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There is also dei " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
