Käpt’n Blaubär Club

The Captain Blue Bear Club was a children's program of WDR, which was aired in the third program of the ARD, as well as in KI.KA 1993-2001 in the First and later to various transmission dates. The basis for the broadcast, the puppet series Captain Blaubärs yarn, which is part of the program with the mouse.

In addition to the main characters Captain Bluebear (Wolfgang Volz ) and police guy ( Edgar Hoppe), also bears yellow, green and pink, and the Flöt and the carnivorous flower Karin ( Edith Hancke ) played an important role. The only (real) people in the show were from the 1993-1995 Leichtmatrosin Bille ( Sybille Waury ), followed by Anke ( Mirjam Köfer ), both of which also took on the role of the moderator. Later were more well-known actors and comedians, like Dirk Bach, Bastian Pastewka, Guildo Horn and Anke Engelke in Captain Blue Bear Club guest.

In addition to the stories with Captain Bluebeard various children's series such as Dinosaurs, Duck Tales and Ernest the Vampire were shown.

On 14 April 2001, the program was initially discontinued and replaced by the successor Blaubär and stupidity in 2002.
