Karan Rastogi

Karan Rastogi ( born October 8, 1986 in Mumbai) is an Indian tennis player.

Rastogi began at the age of three years with the sport of tennis. As a junior, he reached the semi-finals among other things the Australian Open in 2004, which he got in the junior world rankings to No. 4. He was therefore regarded as a great talent, but those into him it fell short: His best finish in the world rankings, he reached in February 2011, with rank 284

Karan Rastogi took previously at four ATP tournaments part, each using a wildcard. He was able to win against Thiago Alves his only previous victory in January 2007 in Chennai. Three times he went to India in the Davis Cup, but lost all the games. At the Asian Games in 2010 he won Somdev Devvarman together with, Sanam Singh and Vishnu Vardhan the bronze medal in the team competition.

Rastogi's best individual result on the ATP Challenger Tour was to reach quarter -finals in April 2006. On Future - plane he was in the course of his career in 13 finals, of which he won seven. In doubles, he has so far won two Challenger titles and four Futures titles with different partners.
