Karaoke on the Maidan

Karaoke on the Square (Ukrainian Караоке на майдані / "Karaoke na Maidani " ) is one of the most famous TV projects in Ukraine, which will be broadcast for over 10 years. The broadcast is from Igor Kondratjuk, co-author of the project, moderated. His godfather Andrei Kozlov is the second co-author of "Karaoke na Maidani ". Prior to broadcast in Ukraine this program ran for three years on the channel " 31" in Russia ( February 1997 to end of 1999). In January 1999, then started the project in Ukraine on the channel "Inter". Then in 2007 the broadcast rights were sold to the transmitter 1 1.

The TV program "Karaoke na Majdani " runs in multiple rounds from:

  • Each from the audience present on the road is a potential participant of the show;
  • In the first round, the moderator sings a song along with the audience;
  • Those candidates who have the best song sung, come to the next round;
  • Three finalists will be selected from these candidates;
  • Then collect the finalists in the last round of the money from the public;
  • The one candidate who has the most money at the end of his song, wins the game.

Defense of the rights of Igor Kondratjuk in court

One of the Ukrainian TV channel founded unlawful project "Karaoke u Fontana ", which copied the format of the show "Karaoke na Maidani ". The trial lasted three years. The interests of Igor Kondratjuk were represented in court by the lawyers Natalia Subota and Andrej Netschiporenko. Igor Kondradtjuk personally took part in the meetings.

This process is basically unique because it the first -, and successful defense of the rights in court by an established television format.

TV program "Chance" - ideological continuation of " Karaoke na Maidani "

The new television format "Chance " by Igor Kondratjuk is viewed as a continuation of "Karaoke na Maidani " and moderated by Andrej Kusmenko and Natalia Mogilevskaya. The winner / in of "Karaoke na Maidani " automatically in the program take a "chance " part. Here, with the help of stylists, makeup artists and producers a complete remodeling of the participant with a new styling within a day. Then, the candidate presents a song on stage.
