KÃ¥re Tveter
Kåre Tveter ( born January 25, 1922 in Sør- Odal, † 21 March, 2012 Lillestrøm ) was a Norwegian painter.
Life
Tveter graduated from the national craft and Kunstindustri school ( SHKS ), Bjarne Engebrets painter School and from 1954 to 1957, the National Academy of Art. He painted numerous landscapes with a minimal use of color. In 1995 Tveter donated 40 works of the Foundation Kåre - Tveter collection in Longyearbyen on Svalbard, which are on permanent display at Galleri Svalbard.
