Karel Klančnik

Karel Klančnik ( Serbian Cyrillic Карел Кланчник; * May 30, 1917 in Mojstrana, † December 8, 2009 ) was a Yugoslavian ski jumper.

Career

His international debut Klančnik at the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 in St. Moritz. On the Olympic ski jump, he jumped on the 23th Place. Four years later at the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 he reached on points with Austrian Hans Eder the 29th place in the individual competition. The first Four Hills Tournament 1953, he jumped on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck on the 17th Place. After he was able to jump on the Paul Ausserleitner hill in Bischofshofen on the 11th place, he completed his first and last tour in 19th place overall.

Karel Klančnik is the younger brother of Alojz Klančnik, who also ran as cross-country skiing at the Olympics.
