Karel Nováček

Karel Nováček ( born March 30, 1965 in Prostějov, then Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech tennis player.

The 1.90 meter tall Nováček was a baseline player who won 13 singles tournaments in his career, including the 1991 German Open in Hamburg. Today, he lives in Boca Raton, Florida, USA.

His highest world ranking was 8th place in 1991.

At the French Open in 1995 Nováček tested positive for cocaine, which he was later blocked for three months.
