Karel Rada

Karel Rada ( born March 2, 1971 in Carlsbad) is a former Czech football player.

Career

Rada youth clubs were Sokol Straz u Tachova, UD Tachov and Škoda Pilsen. His Erstligadebüt he celebrated in 1990/91 for Dukla Prague. In the game year 1992/93, 187 cm tall defender became a regular player.

In 1994 Rada to Sigma Olomouc, where he spent three seasons a fixture in the defense. In 1996 Rada part in the European Championships in England, where the Czech team vice European champion.

In summer 1997 he undertook the Turkish first division side Trabzonspor, he left again in early 1999. Rada signed with Slavia Prague. In 2000 he was part of the squad for the European Championship in Belgium and Holland.

In 2001 he went to Eintracht Frankfurt, for which he completed 11 games in his first season. The following year, in the 2nd Bundesliga, Rada came on 27 missions. He asked in the summer of 2002 to termination of the contract and went to FK Teplice. After 109 games in four years, Rada changed in late July 2006 the then second division club Bohemians 1905 Prague, with which he made the ascent in the Gambrinus Liga.

After the 2007/08 season, which ended with the descent of Bohemians 1905 in the second league, Rada ended his career.
