Karen Allen

Karen Jane Allen ( born October 5, 1951 in Carrollton, Illinois ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Childhood

Karen Allen's father, Carroll Thompson Allen, was an employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; her mother Patricia Howell, a teacher. The family moved several times, in the metropolitan area of Washington, DC until they was settled. Allen studied art and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, at the George Washington University and at the University of Maryland.
