Karen Corr

Karen Corr ( born November 10, 1969 in Ballymoney ) is a Northern Irish snooker and pool player.

Corr won the Women's World Championship in Snooker in the years 1990, 1991, 1995 and 1997. Afterwards she moved to Pool, where they played professionally since 1998, on the WPBA tour.

Her first major success in snooker Vice European Champion counted in 8-Ball 1998. Between 2000 and 2002, she reached in each case the final of the 9-Ball World Cup of the ladies, but lost each of the playoffs against Julie Kelly, Allison Fisher and Shin -Mei Liu. At the 2001 World Games in Akita, they also won another silver medal in the 9- ball.

In 2009, another finals was added at the 9 -Ball World Cup - but again they lost the final; this time against Liu Shasha of China. In 2012 she was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Billiard Congress of America.
