Karen Dotrice

Karen Dotrice ( born November 9, 1955, Guernsey, Channel Islands ) is a British actress who was mainly known for her role as Jane Banks children in the Walt Disney film version of Mary Poppins.

Her career began on stage, which led to film and television roles, and ended in a small role as Desdemona in a Broadway production of Othello. Karen Dotrice retired from show business back in 1984 in order to concentrate more on their role as mother of their three children from two marriages.

Karen Dotrice is the daughter of Roy and Kay Dotrice, two Shakespearean actors who had met during a theater production. Karen Dotrices sisters Michele and Yvette are also actresses.
