Karen Knútsdóttir (born 4 February 1990) is an Icelandic handball player.

Karen Knútsdóttir began six years playing handball at Fram Reykjavík, with the women's team, she played later in the highest Icelandic league. In the summer of 2011, the backcourt player joined the German Bundesliga HSG Blomberg -Lippe. After two years in Blomberg, she moved to the Danish first division club SønderjyskE.

Karen Knútsdóttir has played 62 international matches for Iceland, where they scored 181 hits. The Icelandic national team, she qualified in 2010 for the first time for the European Championships.
