Karen Krantzcke

Karen Krantzcke ( born 1 February 1947 in Brisbane, † April 11, 1977 in the United States) was an Australian tennis player.


In 1968 she won with her ​​compatriot Kerry Melville, the women's doubles at the Australian Tennis Championships (now the Australian Open ). They defeated Judy Tegart and Lesley Turner in three sets 6:4, 3:6, 6:2. Karen Krantzcke died in 1977 at the age of 30 years while jogging.
