Kari Ukkonen

Kari Ukkonen ( born February 19, 1961 in Kuopio ) is a Finnish former football player.

Career

Ukkonen, which covered the position of libero, started his career in his hometown in Kuopio PS. Here he played from 1979 to 1982 before moving to Belgium Cercle Brugge, where he was to play the next four years and 1985 for the first time won the Belgian Cup. He then played one season for SC Lokeren. 1987 obliged him RSC Anderlecht. Here he achieved in 1988 and 1989, the next cup wins.
