Karim Bagheri

Karim Bagheri ( born February 24, 1974 in Tabriz ) is a former Iranian football player, who was last in the service of Persepolis.

Career

The midfielder Bagheri began playing football at Teraktorsazi Tabriz and came across the station Keshavarz FC to Persepolis. Here he quickly became a fan favorite and made by a good play attention to itself. Finally, as regards the season 1997/1998 he moved with his national comrades Ali Daei at that Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld.

Bagheri scored in his first Bundesliga season in 18 games, three goals, but it was unable to prevent even the descent of Arminia to the 2nd Bundesliga. While Daei moved to this season for Bayern Munich, Bagheri remained in Bielefeld. He won in the 1998/99 season a regular place on the Libero position and was with his two goals in 22 league games in the rise of Bielefeld at the end of the season involved.

Karim Bagheri was first appointed in qualifying for the 1994 World Cup in the team of the Iranian national team. His debut Bagheri on 6 June 1993 in match against Pakistan. Overall, he played in 80 matches for Iran and scored 47 goals. In 1998, Bagheri part in the 1998 World Cup in France and was founded in 1997 with 20 hits second in the world ranking behind striker Ronaldo.

2001 Bagheri came back from the national team after failing to qualify for the World Cup in 2002 and declined in 2006, a demand on the part of the national coach ( Branko Ivankovic ) after a comeback from. Bagheri returned in 2008 in a World Cup qualifying match in the Iranian team back.
