Karim El Ahmadi Arrousi ( born January 27, 1985 in Enschede) is a Moroccan football player standing since the 2012/13 season at Aston Villa under contract. His preferred position is defensive midfield.

Club career

El Ahmadi began his career at UDI, a club from his hometown Enschede. In 1996, he played for the youth teams of FC Twente Enschede. On March 21, 2004, he made ​​his debut in the game against FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie. With Twente, he won the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup and participated in the UEFA Cup.
