Karin Adelmund

Karin Adelmund (born 18 March 1949 in Rotterdam, † 21 October 2005 in Amsterdam, actually Karin Yvonne Irene Jansen Adelmund ) was a Dutch politician.

She was a member of the Dutch parliament from 1994 to 1998 and 2002 until 2005. From February 1997 to August 1998 she led as chairman of the Social Democratic Labor Party in the Netherlands. She was 1998-2002 State Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
