Karin Knapp
Karin Knapp ( born June 28, 1987 in Brunico, South Tyrol) is an Italian tennis player. She lives since birth in Luttago (municipality Ahrntal ).

Career
In 2008 she stood at the Proximus Diamond Games in the final against the Belgian Justine Henin, but which she was covered with 3:6 and 3:6.
Knapp reached their highest ever placing in the individual rankings on 25 February 2008, ranks 35th after a long injury break and several setbacks, she started her career in the late summer of 2010, new and contested several ITF tournaments, one of which she won three and only one lost in the final.
2011/2012 Knapp returned to the WTA Tour. There, she reached the semifinals in the tournament in Bogotá in single and doubles the quarter-finals along with last year's winner Edina Gallovits- Hall.
In 2013 they celebrated winning the Fed Cup with a 4-0 final victory over Russia with the Italian team. Karin Knapp contributed in doubles with Flavia Pennetta of a point at.
