Karina Bryant

Karina Bryant ( born January 27, 1979 in Kingston upon Thames ) is a British judoka.

Your first big success came Bryant, who starts for the Camberley Judo Club, 1998 in Oviedo where she won gold at the Judo European Championships in their weight class. A year later, at the first Judo 1999 World Championships in Birmingham she won bronze. The Judo -Europe championships in 2000, 2003 and 2005, she was able to repeat their success of 1998 and again won gold. 2001 and 2003, she had to settle for silver. In 2005, she also won a bronze medal. In the Judo World Championships in Munich in 2001 she won silver. In 2003 and 2005 there was only enough to silver. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Bryant took part, but resigned after a defeat in the first fight against the Mexican Vanessa Zambotti.
