Karl Adams (mathematician)

Carl Adams ( born January 15, 1811 in Merscheid, † November 14, 1849 in Winterthur ) was a German mathematician and teacher.

Career

Carl Adams worked as a teacher in Trogen and in 1836 as a mathematics and physics teacher at the vocational school Winterthur and now also at the industrial school. With its Monographs he made ​​major contributions to the introduction of modern geometry at high schools and vocational schools.
