Karl Brunner (luger)
Karl Brunner ( born May 19, 1951) is a former South Tyrolean luger in artificial track luge and was a longtime member of the Italian team.
The multiple Italian master was in the 1970s, the most successful racing lugers. Among his greatest successes
- The world champion title in the single-seater 1971 in Olang,
- And the silver medal at the 1980 Olympic Games in Lake Placid, which he won in doubles with his partner Peter Gschnitzer.
- With this he also won in 1978 and 1979 World Cup in doubles.

- Third place in the World Cup 1981 single seater
