Karl-Erivan Haub

Karl -Erivan Haub hiking ( born March 5, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington) is the owner, CEO, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of the Tengelmann group and forwards this since the departure of his father Erivan Haub in 2000. Haub and his family are counted by the U.S. magazine Forbes with an estimated fortune of 4.5 billion U.S. dollars to the 200 richest people in the world.

Biography

In addition to teaching as a food merchant in his parents' company Haub studied in St. Gallen St. Gallen University 1978-1983 Economic and Social Sciences and graduated with a diploma in Business Administration. After initial experience with Nestle Foods in New York, he moved in 1986 to the consulting firm McKinsey in Dusseldorf. In 1991 he went as a project manager for the " Aufbau Ost " in the family, was there a year later Deputy Managing Director. In 1997, Haub the management of the food activities of the family business. Since 2000, Haub leads Tengelmann Holding in Europe.

Haub has two younger brothers, George and Christian. He is married to Katrin born Haubold since 1989. They have two children. Haub lives with his family in Cologne. He is a skier and runs marathons.
