Karl Josef Weinmair

Karl Weinmair (* 1906 in Munich, † October 4, 1944 ) was a German painter.

Weinmair lived all his life in Munich. In his youth, he opted for the professional painter and went especially Olaf Gulbransson into teaching. His works often thematized the Munich petty bourgeoisie. Weinmair participated as a soldier in World War II. His last work sketchbook from the 1000 - year Reich from 1944 represents the physiognomies of Nazis and Wehrmacht officers
