Karl Müller (inventor)

Karl Müller ( born November 29, 1952 in Roggwil ) is a Swiss entrepreneur. He is the inventor of the Masai Barefoot Technology, and thereafter produced MBT shoes and kyBoots.

Müller was born as the son of Swiss blacksmith Karl Müller in Roggwil. In 1997, Müller developed the MBT shoe so far sold over 10 million times. Meanwhile, the MBT is available in 20 countries. He is the first functional shoe, which there was in this form worldwide.

Due to insurmountable differences with his business partners, who see MBT as a lifestyle footwear brand, Müller separated in September 2006 on good terms from MBT. He sold his shares in the company and founded the same year the kybun AG.

KM Foundation

Müller involved with his family foundation " KM Foundation " for social projects. The KM Foundation supports disadvantaged people around the world and is from the Christian belief to help your neighbor in need, emerged. Between 10 and 20 percent of annual earnings from its business flow to the KM Foundation, which operates 40 projects worldwide.

Private life

Mueller is married to the Korean Jung- Suk Goh. The couple has four of his own and three adopted children.
