Karl Stotz

Karl Stotz ( born March 27, 1927 in Vienna ) is a retired Austrian football player and football coach. From 1978 to 1982 he was team leader of the Austrian national football team.

Career

Stotz was taken as a young soldier in World War II at Stalingrad in captivity and was able to return in 1948, three years after the war ended to Vienna only. The defender was soon after his return regular players of FC Vienna in defense. After just over three years in the favorite leaders in the nation highest league he was recruited at the beginning of 1952 by the Vienna Austria.
