The Karl Vossler price (according to Karl Vossler ) is a literary prize was awarded alternately as Bavarian Prize for Literature from the Free State of Bavaria 1984-2002 annually with the Jean- Paul Award. The price was endowed with DM 25,000 or 12,500 euros and honored scientific representations of literary merit.
